Dublin Elementary introduces new mascot

Dublin Elementary unveiled its new mascot on Thursday afternoon to close out the first week of school with a ton of excitement.

Shammy, a name chosen by students at the end of last year, is a shamrock with a hat, high socks, yellow shoes and a big smile. The colors on his hat and socks feature the grade colors that are spread throughout the building.

Dublin’s new mascot design was voted on and selected by students, staff and their families.
