Ashley Ramirez receives Golden Apple Award

Dublin Elementary kindergarten teacher, Ashley Ramirez, received a Golden Apple Award at the September 4, 2025 Board of Education meeting.

Ramirez was nominated by teacher consultant Sara Sharpe for being an extraordinary teacher who genuinely loves her students.

“Ashley knows and cares about every single one of her students,” said Sharpe. “She advocates tirelessly for their needs and works to help every single student reach their potential.”

“As a newer teacher, Ashley has risen to every challenge with grace, positivity and compassion,” added Sharpe. “She is not afraid to reach out and ask questions, or seek support from her school support team. She loves her job and her students and it shows in every single thing she does.”
