Adam Scher will lead Dublin Elementary to start the school year
The Walled Lake Consolidated Schools’ administration appointed Adam Scher as Dublin Elementary’s interim principal for the start of the 2024-25 school year.
Scher comes to Dublin Elementary with a wealth of experience having served as principal at Bloomfield Hills’ Way Elementary for 17 years before his retirement. Scher also worked as an adjunct professor at Oakland University leading classes for teachers in training and, since retiring, filled in as interim principal last year at Commerce Elementary and Bemis Elementary in Troy during the 2022-23 school year.
“Transitional times often raise anxieties and concerns,” said Scher. “Please be assured that your questions and concerns will always be a priority to me. I have had many, many, years of experience opening buildings for the new school year and understand how important each detail can be.”
"We're thrilled to have Adam Scher rejoin the Walled Lake family as we begin the new school year,” said Dr. Michael Lonze, Superintendent of Schools. “With his extensive experience in school leadership, Mr. Scher is well-equipped to lead Dublin Elementary. I'm confident he'll help prepare the Dublin community for another outstanding year."
